Participants


The participanting institutions (represented by individuals from the respective working groups, so called participants) interact and contribute to the work of the consortium over a longer period of time. The German research association (Deutsche Forschungsgesellschaft, DFG) defines the role in its guidelines for NFDI consortia:

“To complement the consortium’s subject-specific or information infrastructure expertise, additional participants may be integrated in the consortium. These may be natural persons and non-profit legal entities. Participants interact and contribute to the consortium and its work programme on a sustained basis. The consortium can request funds for the involvement of participants.“
